I couldn't find my way back here!

This is all so new that I couldn't find my way back here! The technically challenged should not be allowed near a computer.

 It has been raining on and off for a week here. I know that doesn't sound like news but here in SoCal we just are not used to rain and it screws up everything. All the boxes of material I had outside trying to organize my sewing room/ office space had to be dragged onto the porch which makes it kinda challenging to move around. I have enough material to stock a small store but I still keep buying. I found some material yesterday that was Waverly, kinda shiny and for upholstery...just a lovely floral and it was 7.99 for about 9 yards. Who in their right mind would leave it at the store? And the desk I mentioned in my last post now sits out in the driveway covered in a tarp waiting for the rain to go away so I can get busy working on it. I did manage to glue the broken leg back on but there it sits.

The brown dog is my PitBull Bella and of course the white dog is my Husbands dog BooBoo. Well folks time for my first cup of coffee, hope you all have a warm and sunny day!

My First post

Well I might as well join the growing tide of bloggers. Besides I need some where to put my pictures since webshots has been killed by its new owners..sigh... My name is Nancy and I am a SAHM of several fur children, Notice I said FUR children. No regular children here, all grown and gone thank heavens.
 My job is to take care of the love of my Husbands life,,, his Labrador named BooBoo. ( Ha, I bet you thought it was me!! )

BooBoo has epilepsy and is on several different medication and doing quite well. After my Mother died ( I took care of her in HER house) we discussed my going back to work and decided that it was best for me to stay home and care for him. We are not rich but the Lord has blessed us greatly and although it is a squeaker sometimes, it is what is best  for BooBoo, I love the idea, AND most importantly it is what makes my hubby happy. He supported and encouraged me to quit my job so I could take care of my Mother in her final years so this is the least I can do to repay him. Well enough of this. Gotta get a cup of coffee and get started on my day. Wait till you see the table I got at the thrift store yesterday for 7 bucks!! Pictures as soon as I pick it up today.
